“Heaven’s Hearkening”
I hear the Song of Heaven hearkening: Light of the World – Jesus Our King!
We are not searching for the temporary but the unseen realities of Eternity.
“Watch! Stand fast in the faith! Be brave! Be strong! Let all that you do be done with love!
For a great, effective door is opened to me And there are many adversaries.”

Introductory TreasureCommentary
THE TREASURE: Have you considered the marvel of what it means that YOU as God’s POIEMA have been created anew for His holy habitation? That He created YOU… so He might pour His excellent power through YOUR earthen vessel for His glory and the strengthening of His Household of Faith? This is truly astounding and miraculous!
From where does this excellent power come? But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. II Corinthians 4:7 NKJV
God has fearfully and wonderfully made YOUR mind to retain all of THE TREASURE that He has laid up for His people! One of the most powerful ways to remember God’s Word is in SONG as the Psalmist modeled:
Your statutes have been my songsIn the house of my pilgrimage. Psalm 119:54
REMEMBER THE WORD: Psalm 119, the chapter entitled Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God, further highlights this heart plea in verse 49:
Remember the Word to Your servant, Upon which you have caused me to hope.
“Remember” comes from two word parts: “re” meaning again” and “memorari”, which means “be mindful of”. “Remember” is a call to action in about 150 Bible verses! This heart cry from Psalm 119:49 continues in verse 50: Remember the Word to Your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. Here the Psalmist boldly calls to action our LIVING, ACTIVE, ALL-POWERFUL GOD, whose Name is “I AM”.
Have you ever pondered: “Because God is I AM, Who Am I?” Galatians 3:16 reveals the “SEED” of “I AM”: “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made…’And toyourSeed,’ whoisChrist.”
What is God’s Word telling us about a “SEED”? What is a “SEED”? A seed is defined in Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary as: progeny; offspring; children; descendants; as the seed of Abraham; the seed of David. With this in mind, consider again what Galatians 3:16 means regarding the Seed of Christ within YOU: Within a physical seed is an “ENDOSPERM”, food/nourishment for the Seed to grow from “endo” meaning inside, within, internal and “sperm”, which means seed; that which is sown. God’s Divine Word within us is our nourishment for the Seed of Christ that HE has planted!
A “kernel” of wheat may be likened to a seed. In addition to the endosperm, a kernel of wheat also consists of “bran layers”, the outer coat, and the “germ”, the ovary or seed-bud of a plant, the rudiment of fruit yet in embryo; shoot, sprout. Reflect on this imagery as you study the kernel of wheat picture and meditate on this original verse depiction of John 12:24.
GROWTH AS “POIEMA”:
This refers back to the astounding and miraculous:
WE are God’s Masterpiece! WE are God’s “Poiema”! In Greek “Poiema” means “something made” by God!
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
HIDE THESE WORDS IN YOUR HEART WITH OUR “POIEMA MEDLEY”!
How does the Seed of Christ within US, God’s POIEMA, grow? Just as we take special care to choose nourishing, whole foods to care for our physical bodies. God has given us the pure, Heavenly food of His Word for the nourishment and growth of our SOUL!
Christ is the seed. God’s Word is the Soil. The Fruit Is The Fruit of HIS Spirit.
Our IDENTITY is that we are the SEED OF CHRIST!
Our GROWTH comes through being planted in the soil of God’s Word!
God MATURES us with the nutrients of His Word to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit within us!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3
“Just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat,so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” Isaiah 55:10-11
How does God Himself describe The Word that comes from His own mouth?
“The Word of God”…
Is Proven From The Beginning Psalm 18:30 ~ Is Living and Powerful Hebrews 4:12 ~ Accomplishes and Prospers Isaiah 55:10-11

How do we hide God’s Word in our hearts as the Psalmist instructs that we might not sin against God?
From Our Hearts: Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.Psalm 119:11
To Our Minds:Remember the Word to Your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction,For Your word has given me life. Psalm 119:49-50

“Many Seeds: I Am” ~ Sacred Alphabetical Contemplations ~ English and Hebrew
represents a ten-year journey into the “Far Country”: the unknown, untrodden ground of walking by faith and not by sight. During this due season, the Lord’s sanctifying work gave birth to “Freedom in The Word’s” Original Alphabetical Scripture-Songs: “Many Seeds”! These Scriptures not only convey the wonders of what it means that we are one of the “Many Seeds from the Seed of Christ”, but they also represent the costly teachings of pilgrims and sojourners who with obedient hearts have invested these most precious treasures in the Kingdom of God for His eternal glory and the edification of The Body of Christ! For over three decades, the Lord has graciously illumined His Word as melodies in my heart in song, that He might QUICKEN US for His Name’s sake in every circumstance with His living, breathing, active, powerful, heart-discerning Word:
Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. Psalm 143:11
I AM:In honor and celebration of “I AM’s” marvelous work that He has promised to complete in
YOU, His POIEMA, as you labor in the good works HE PLANNED to accomplish through YOU long ago:
CONTEMPLATE the SEED OF CHRIST implanted within YOU by God Our SOVEREIGN SAVIOR!
EXAMINE what it means that YOU are God’s POIEMA!
MINE these extravagant TREASURES OF HIS WORD by His EXCELLENT, INDWELLING POWER!
“We Have This Treasure“
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. II Corinthians 4:7 NKJV
Treasure Testimony: On a cold day in January 2022, the Lord brought these “improvisational soul tones” – a melody through my fingers on the piano that He had been speaking into my Spirit for months as I recovered from a traumatic injury. Unbeknownst to me, these melodic utterances would also be balm for other areas of deep brokenness. In February 2022, as a love song to the Lord, He gave me His Words to add to His inspired melody. One of three songs in our “Treasure Medley”, these soul tones were fittingly provided at a high price: first through the melody alone and second through the accompanying lyrics.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16
