‘Tis a trying road to stand fast in the faith (no matter the cost),
Yet as we do, we find what we might’ve lost:
Is the only true gain in the sight of our King.
His Eternal Word — our hope and stay.
Residing within its walls we obey.
And soon we find the mirror there
THAT REFLECTS HIS GLORY…THERE WE STARE!
For no earthly pow’r may scarcely compare:
JOY, FREEDOM, REST, and CONTENT…
Dear Precious Savior, May You never relent
Of your transforming goodness to make us Thine
No matter the cost…may we never repine!
And may we ever our neighbors hotly pursue
With Truth’s armor that they too might be renewed.
