God waters all the earth with rain and snow
To nourish it that many crops may grow,
So people may eat…be faithfully fed,
Bursting forth from mere seed comes daily bread!
Such also does the Word, Christ’s living Seed
Planted in men’s hearts opened eyes to see
Testimonies inscribed on each heart born
Of Salvation’s blossom New Life transforms.
And soon men’s souls can but pant for mercy
Kept by God’s wonderful light providing
And prospering and, yes, saturating!
Christ’s Seed enters…feeds man’s understanding!
